La Pau s'aconsegueix amb Justícia i amb justícia social. No hi ha una altra pau possible.
Deixeu-me que mencioni un altre fragment del discurs de JFK, lamentablement també, plenament vigent avui:
What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. Tot i els condicionants, un estat de dret que realment ho sigui no fa justícia assassinant ni té tribunals polítics. Un estat de dret captura i jutja. Però què podem esperar d'un país, els Estats Units, on encara és vigent la pena de mort? Què podem esperar d'un país, Espanya, on es pot fer callar o se li poden negar drets a un ciutadà per parlar català?
Idealisme? I tant que sí! Què és un ésser humà sense ideals? Ben poca cosa.
